Frequently Asked Questions
When is the final date to RSVP?
Please RSVP through the link, in the top right of this page, by March 10th.
What are the key dates for the wedding?
Our welcome drinks will be taking place on Friday, September 6th, with the actual wedding taking place on Saturday, September 7th.
Are children or pets invited to the wedding?
We love your little ones, but we will not be including them in our celebration. We look forward to seeing them another time!
What is the venue like?
The farm is a full outdoor venue, although we will have tents set-up. As such, please keep an eye on the weather and please bring shoes that will work on grassy areas.
Are there any venue rules?
The main rule is to leave every natural part of the venue as is. No picking flowers, produce or leaves. It is up to us to keep this little community space in great shape.
Is there parking at the venue?
There is some parking at the venue, but we recommend taking the shuttle even if you’re not drinking. It will leave at a reasonable time during the evening and will take you right back to the hotel where you can leave your car.
Can we take photos or videos during the ceremony?
Please refrain from taking any photos or videos until after the ceremony has finished. We have a great photographer that’ll be shooting lots and lots of photos. Feel free to ask her to take a photo of you and your pals at the reception.
What’s the dress code?
Outdoor cocktail attire. We highly recommend wearing shoes that work on grass. Stilettos will not be a good fit ;) Dress code for Welcome Drinks is smart casual.
Can I bring a plus one?
Most guest’s long term partners are invited, but if you’re unsure you can click RSVP and type in your name and it will let you know if you have a plus one invited or not. If no plus one is listed, we ask that you consult us before bringing a guest.
Do you have any suggested accommodations?
Yes! If you go to our Accommodation & Travel page, you will see that we have set up a hotel block at the Oceanside in Sechelt. We encourage you to book there to take advantage of the group rate and to ensure easy transportation on the day of the wedding, as we will have a shuttle service to and from the venue. If you decide to book your own accomodation, ensure it’s within walking distance of the Oceanside or ensure you’ve organized someone in your party to drive you back from the hotel.
